Step #1 – Buying spice seeds

Make sure that you purchase seeds that are high-quality from a credible source with stocks that are always fresh. Choose packages that are dust-free and do away with old stocks that are sitting on the shelves for too long.

Step #2 – Sunny area

Set up the spice garden on a sunny area. Some garden kits are provided with tabletop greenhouse while others are provided with pots and trays. Always make sure that your pots have excellent drainage.

Step #3 – Indoor spice garden recipe

In the beginning, you need to put jiffy pellets as one of the recipe. Other green thumb ingredients include seeds, water, warmth and sun to complete the entire package of the herb and spice garden. If you do not use jiffy pellets then at least you can use high grade potting soil. Make sure that your pack of high grade potting soil contains enough nutrients that the plants will feed on in the next months. Fill the pot and add water accordingly. On the wet soil, sprinkle the seeds then add some more soil on top of the seeds. Make sure that you know the maximum number of seeds to be placed in one pot.

Step #4 – Transfer your garden pots

When the seedlings are growing, transfer them to larger pots so that it will have enough room. Always make sure that the pots have adequate moisture so that it can grow properly. Make sure that the garden is on a sunny part of the house.

When the herbs and spices are growing and lavishing, you can now enjoy fresh spices that will make your food taste great and makes you healthy inside and out. You will be enjoying your own Spice Garden in know time.
